Simple, tow-free design:Installing these tow plates for use with your Demco tow bar is quick and easy. Simply remove the mounting feet from the ends of your tow bar arms and replace them with these tabs. Then simply insert the tow bar arms into the tow plate receivers to attach them. There is no need to remove the tabs from your tow bar, so you will not risk losing them. And since the tabs always remain on your tow bar instead of protruding from your vehicle, your car maintains a clean appearance when it is not being towed.Easy to attach and detach:Using the Demco tow plates to attach and remove your tow bar could not be easier. Since the tow plate tabs attach to the tow bar arms, simply insert the tabs into your vehicle's receivers and turn them to lock them in place. Insert the included pull pins to add an extra layer of security, ensuring that the tabs remain in place. To remove each arm, simply pull the pin to disengage the lock, turn the tow bar arm, and remove the tab from the bracket.Receiver coversKeep dirt and debris out of the tow plate receivers with the included covers. These high-density polyethylene covers snap easily onto each tow point when your tow bar is not attached. By limiting internal corrosion, it is easier to slide the tabs in and out and helps prevent seizing so that the tabs do not get stuck.Tow bar adaptersIf you have a Demco Kwik-Tow tow bar or a tow bar from another manufacturer, an adapter may be available. Demco makes adapters for use with other tow bars so that you do not have to worry about replacing your tow bar when you equip your new towed vehicle with tow plates.
