Class 1 hitch, Honda Civic, Acura CSX, ILX

Whatever your definition of adventure—whether it’s riding on the back of a mountain bike, hunting from the top of a stand in a tree, or camping with the family in the middle of nowhere—CURT Class 1 hitches offer a lightweight receiver to help you move forward. Each is designed to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit, and optimal towing capacity. Custom Class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of small vehicles, including compact cars, multi-purpose vehicles, minivans, and small SUVs. This Class 1 hitch is designed as a custom hitch for certain model years of the Honda Civic, Acura CSX, and Acura ILX (to check vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a 2,000 lb GTW and 200 lb TW load capacity. It features a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or another hitch support. This Class 1 hitch also comes with all the necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube, a Class 1 hitch is particularly useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also generally be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer, or teardrop trailer (never exceed the minimum weight capacity of any towing component; that is, the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc.). Although CURT Class 1 trailer hitches are intended for light towing only, we apply the same quality standards as the rest of our rear hitches. Each Class 1 hitch is made with manual engineering, high-strength steel, and precision welding. We use an A-coat co-dur finish, inside and out, as well as a durable black powder coat to provide long-lasting protection against rust, chips, and UV rays.
