Class 1 hitch, Honda Civic

Whatever your definition of adventure—whether riding on the back of a mountain bike, hunting from the top of a stand in a tree, or camping with the family in the middle of nowhere—CURT Class 1 hitches offer a lightweight receiver for towing to help you move forward. Each is designed to fit a specific vehicle, offering easier installation, a better fit, and optimal towing capacity. Custom Class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of small vehicle types, including compact cars, multi-purpose vehicles, minivans, and small SUVs. This Class 1 hitch is designed to be a custom hitch for certain model years of the Honda Civic (to check vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a 2,000 lb GTW and 200 lb TW load capacity. It is equipped with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount shank or another hitch mount. This Class 1 hitch is also equipped with all the necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube size, a Class 1 hitch is particularly useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also generally be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer, or teardrop trailer (never exceed the minimum weight capacity of any towing component; that is, the vehicle, the hitch, the trailer, etc.). Although CURT Class 1 trailer hitches are intended for light towing only, we apply the same quality principles as the rest of our rear hitches. Each Class 1 hitch is manufactured with manual engineering, high-strength steel, and precision welding. We use an A-coat co-durateed finish, inside and out, as well as a durable black powder coat to provide lasting protection against rust, chips, and UV rays.
