New ProFilter air filter, perfectly oiled, providing maximum airflow and increased engine power. Ready to use, the air filters include a dual layer of reticulated foam. Reticulation is a process that expands the foam cells, allowing for increased airflow and engine power. Each of the two foam layers features different pore sizes: the deeper one consists of a denser foam capable of capturing fine particles of sand and suspended dust, while the outer layer consists of a more open-pore matrix that traps larger dirt particles. The greater porosity of the outer foam also helps the filter resist clogging. The air filter seals are welded with industrial adhesive. Furthermore, each filter includes a rubber grommet to ensure it remains firmly in place in its housing, preventing tearing and preserving the filter's structural integrity.
