New ProFilter air filter, perfectly oiled, providing maximum airflow and increased engine power. Ready to use, the air filters include a dual layer of reticulated foam. Reticulation is a process that expands the cells of the foam, allowing for increased airflow and engine power. Each of the two foam layers features pores of a different size: the inner one consists of denser foam capable of capturing fine particles of suspended sand and dust, while the outer layer consists of a more open-pored matrix that traps larger dirt particles. The greater porosity of the outer foam also helps the filter resist clogging. The air filter seals are welded with an industrial adhesive. Additionally, each filter includes a rubber grommet to ensure it remains firmly in place in its support, preventing tearing and preserving the filter's structural integrity.
