GIANT LOOP Handlebar Spacers Set for Handlebar Removal

By removing the large passenger grab handles from KTM 790/1090/1190/1290 adventure models and installing spacers in their place to attach the rear luggage rack, Giant Loop's Great Basin, Coyote, Mojavi, and Siskiyou bags fit these motorcycles as if they had been designed specifically for them. No side racks needed!

These black anodized aluminum spacers replace the passenger grab handles on the KTM 790/890/1090/1190/1290, giving the stock luggage rack a clean and tidy profile.

When the passenger grab handles are removed, the Siskiyou bags are placed in the optimal position - the bag lids are level with the top of the seat and do not hang down the sides. The Siskiyou bags can be adjusted to their minimum width.

The Siskiyou bags are mounted in the usual way, according to the GL instructions provided with the bags: The two side tie-down straps attach to the passenger footrest brackets, and two tie-down straps secure the D-rings on the back of the bags to the stock rear luggage rack. We like to use Pronghorn 16 straps for tie-downs, as they are quick, easy, and very secure.

By securing the wheel-side chains of the Siskiyou bags to the stock KTM luggage brackets and applying forward tension with the side tie-down straps, the bags are firmly locked in position. They are supported by the stock luggage brackets at multiple points.

For even more stability, add another connection between the wheel-side chain and the very thick exhaust bracket.
