Cylinder Works Cylinder OEM-appearing, new and not remanufactured, cast aluminum cylinder with a nickel silicon carbide (NSC) electroplated stock bore that looks just like an OE cylinder. NSC is a composite of nickel and silicon carbide, providing an excellent wear-resistant surface with oil-retention capabilities. The cylinders are then diamond-honed to the exact bore dimensions and proper surface finish to ensure proper ring sealing and oil retention.
