Class 1 Trailer Hitch, 1-1/4" Receiver, Mercedes-Benz E350

Whatever your definition of adventure, whether it’s mountain biking, hunting from a tree stand or camping with your family in the middle of nowhere, CURT Class 1 hitches offer a lightweight hitch receiver to help you carry it all.

Each hitch is custom-designed for a specific vehicle to ensure easier installation, a perfect fit and suitable towing capacity. Custom Class 1 trailer hitches are available for a wide range of small vehicles, including compact cars, crossovers, minivans and small SUVs.

This particular Class 1 hitch is designed for select Mercedes-Benz E350 models (to check compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a 2,000 lb. gross trailer weight (GTW) capacity and a 200 lb. tongue weight (TW) capacity. It features a 1-1/4" receiver tube that accepts a ball mount or other hitch accessory. All necessary mounting hardware is also included.

Thanks to its lightweight design and smaller receiver, a Class 1 hitch is especially convenient for adding cargo space with a bike rack or hitch-mounted cargo carrier. It can also be used to tow small trailers, such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer or small teardrop camper (never exceed the lowest capacity of any towing component: vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc.).

Although CURT Class 1 hitches are intended for light-duty towing only, we apply the same quality standards as we do to the rest of our rear hitches. Each Class 1 hitch is designed with meticulous engineering, high-strength steel and precise welds. A protective finish is applied in two layers: an A-coat liquid coating inside and out, followed by a durable black powder coat, providing lasting protection against rust, chips and UV rays.
