attelage-classe-1-volkswagen-passat-cc
Class 1 hitch, Volkswagen Passat, CC

Whatever your definition of adventure — whether it’s hopping on the back of a mountain bike, hunting from a tree stand or camping with your family in the middle of nowhere — CURT Class 1 hitches offer a lightweight towing receiver to help you Get Out and Go. Each is designed to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit and optimal towing capacity. Custom Class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of smaller vehicle types, including compact cars, crossovers, minivans and small SUVs. This Class 1 hitch is designed as a custom hitch for certain model years of the Volkswagen Passat and CC (to check vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a gross trailer weight capacity of 2,000 lb GTW and 200 lbs TW. It features a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or other hitch-mounted accessory. This Class 1 hitch also includes all the necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube, a Class 1 hitch is particularly useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. It can also generally be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer or teardrop camper (never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component, such as the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc.). Although CURT Class 1 trailer hitches are intended only for light-duty towing, we apply the same quality principles as we do to the rest of our rear hitches. Each Class 1 hitch is manufactured with precision engineering, high-strength steel and precise welding. We use a co-cured A-coat finish inside and out, along with a durable black powder coat, to provide lasting protection against rust, chips and UV rays.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0809/6301/0848/files/11091_3008x1990_a_24febe98-47da-4c1f-8b26-0033302906b0.jpg?v=1757533924
