Each is designed to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit and optimal towing capacity. Custom Class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of small vehicle types, including compact cars, crossovers, minivans and small SUVs. This Class 1 hitch is designed as a custom-fit hitch for certain model years of the Toyota Prius (to check vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a load capacity of 2,000 lbs. GTW and 200 lbs. TW. It features a 1-1\/4\" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or other hitch-mounted accessory. This Class 1 hitch also includes all the necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube, a Class 1 hitch is especially useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also generally be used to tow small trailers such as utility trailers, kayak trailers or teardrop campers (never exceed the minimum weight capacity of any towing component, such as the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc.). Although CURT Class 1 trailer hitches are intended for light-duty towing only, we apply the same quality principles as we do to the rest of our rear hitches. Each Class 1 hitch is manufactured using hands-on engineering, high-strength steel and precision welding. We use a co-cured A-coat finish, inside and out, as well as a durable black powder coat to provide lasting protection against rust, chips and UV rays.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"CURT","offers":[{"title":"Class 1 hitch, Toyota Prius, Prius Prime","offer_id":50696662286624,"sku":"11684","price":337.4,"currency_code":"CAD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0809\/6301\/0848\/files\/11684_3008x1990_a_02e47577-c150-41bd-80b0-3055e2565a5e.jpg?v=1757534542","url":"https:\/\/en.recreashop.ca\/products\/attelage-classe-1-toyota-prius-prius-prime","provider":"Récréashop","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
