attelage-classe-1-ford-mustang-1
Class 1 hitch, Ford Mustang

Whatever the definition of adventure — whether it’s hopping on the back of a mountain bike, hunting from a tree stand or camping with the family out in the middle of nowhere — CURT Class 1 hitches offer a lightweight towing receiver to help you Move Forward. Each is designed to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit and optimal towing capacity. Custom Class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of small vehicle types, including compact cars, crossovers, minivans and small SUVs. This Class 1 hitch is designed as a custom hitch for select model years of the Ford Mustang (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684 standards, it offers a 2,000 lb. GTW capacity and 200 lbs. TW capacity. It features a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or other hitch accessory. This Class 1 hitch also includes all the necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube size, a Class 1 hitch is especially useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also generally be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer or teardrop camper (never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component, including the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc.). While CURT Class 1 trailer hitches are intended for light-duty towing only, we apply the same quality principles as we do to the rest of our rear hitches. Each Class 1 hitch is manufactured using hands-on engineering, high-strength steel and precision welding. We use a co-cured A-coat finish inside and out, along with a durable black powder coat, to provide lasting defense against rust, chipping and UV rays.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0809/6301/0848/files/11312_3008x1990_a_e2563798-7c71-4089-8604-7b602cbbb594.jpg?v=1757534086
